I've read through the FAQ and searched the forum but haven't seen anything on the Transocean Day Date. I love this watch and am in the process of trying to buy one but wanted to ask the experts here first as reviews of this watch anywhere are scarce, if not nonexistent. I have a Breitling Transocean Chronograph, still under warranty. It's working well other than the date change, which changes date at 4 minutes to midnight rather than midnight. It does do it "instantaneously" but it's somewhat annoying that it does so at the wrong time every time (even if it is CONSISTENTLY the same wrong time). I checked their web site directly and the only offer the Day & Date in the Transocean with the simpe dial. Am I missing something? Or do I have to source a NOS or Pre-Owned to get that particular model? Just this last month, the Transocean line disappeared from the Breitling website. It seems to have been replaced by the Premier line which just doesn't do anything for me. I don't know if the Transocean has been discontinued, but I think it's a safe assumption.
The problem is that sometimes I cannot set the day or date after winding the watch. The day/date tries to move but wont transition to the next day or date. Hi, Here is one of my QC images.
